186 | The Somatic Side of Integrity: Why Living Your Truth Can Feel Uncomfortable Before It Feels Free

What does integrity actually feel like in your body?

After the response to Episode 184, The Power of Integrity, I knew there was another layer of this conversation that needed to be explored.

In the first episode, I talked about integrity as a choice.

In this episode, I’m talking about integrity as an experience.

Many of us can recognize when we’re speaking our truth intellectually, but we don’t always recognize what living in alignment, or out of alignment, feels like within ourselves.

I explore the difference between the discomfort of abandoning yourself and the discomfort of becoming yourself, how the nervous system responds when old patterns are challenged, and why feeling uncomfortable doesn’t automatically mean something is wrong.

Together we’ll explore:

  • What living in integrity feels like in the body
  • Why self-abandonment often creates confusion and internal friction
  • The connection between people-pleasing and nervous system safety
  • How old survival patterns react when you choose authenticity
  • Questions to help uncover what is underneath your discomfort
  • Why rewiring often feels messy before it feels freeing

This conversation is a reminder that discomfort is not always a sign you’re out of alignment. Sometimes it’s a sign you’re finally moving toward it.

I pray this episode will grow and help you in some way. Sending my love and light,

J

P.S. If this conversation is awakening something inside you… trust that.
If you’re feeling called to release stored emotions, soften your nervous system, and remember who you truly are beneath conditioning and survival patterns, I would be honored to walk beside you in that process.
